Avnet Electronics Marketing and Kontron Ink Americas Distribution Agreement

PHOENIX -- The Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT), and Kontron America, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance and long-life embedded computing technology solutions, today announced a distribution agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Avnet will distribute Kontron's innovative embedded boards, mezzanines, computer-on-modules, systems and platforms across North and South America.
Kontron is committed to engineering and quality excellence, offering solutions based on a variety of architectures, form factors and processing power levels. "We look forward to the strategic engagement with Avnet's extensive customer base.
