Alpha II's ClaimStaker software to be a fully supported component of Intergy by Sage Practice Management System
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Alpha II, a leader in healthcare coding, compliance and reimbursement, announced today a contract with Sage Software to make Alpha II's ClaimStaker product available as a fully supported component of selected Sage Software products, beginning with the Intergy by Sage practice management system. The Sage Software technology integration, which is now in the pilot phase, will allow Intergy users to verify both professional and institutional claims from the payer's perspective using the industry's most comprehensive medical necessity and coding edits database.
"We are proud that Sage Software selected ClaimStaker as a feature for its practice management software, particularly with Intergy," said Stuart Newsome, vice president, business development of Unicor Medical, one of the software developers behind the Alpha II cobranded solution. "ClaimStaker has helped many practices increase revenue, reduce denials, meet compliance regulations and monitor coding practices. We're excited that users of one of the industry's leading developers of practice management systems will now be getting the benefits of highly effective, automated claims evaluation and decision support."
Alpha II's ClaimStaker is designed to improve claim validity, increase cash flow and demonstrate clinical defensibility by editing claim files prior to submission. In addition to ClaimStaker being used by IT vendors and other developers as embedded software, the claims-editing software can be implemented as a stand-alone solution for healthcare providers.
