Moelis & Company Announces Peter Vogelsang to Join as a Managing Director and General Counsel

NEW YORK -- Moelis & Company announced today that Peter Vogelsang will join the firm in July as a Managing Director and General Counsel. Mr. Vogelsang, who has practiced law for over 20 years, will be responsible for the firm's legal and compliance matters and will be based in New York.
Mr. Vogelsang joins from Morgan Stanley where he was Co-Head of Coverage for Investment Banking, focused on the Mergers and Acquisitions Department. During his 18 year career at Morgan Stanley, he was also counsel to the Merchant Banking Division, Real Estate Investing businesses and Trust Company. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Vogelsang was an Associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel. Mr. Vogelsang graduated from Tufts University magna cum laude and received a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
