Metabolix, Inc. to Present at Investor Conference

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Metabolix, Inc. (NASDAQ: MBLX), a bioscience company focused on developing clean, sustainable solutions for the world's needs for plastics, chemicals and energy, today announced that it will be presenting at the Jefferies & Company Global Clean Tech Conference taking place June 5, 2008 in New York City.

Richard Eno, the Company's President & Chief Executive Officer will be presenting on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. Mr. Eno will be accompanied at the Conference by Joseph Hill, the recently appointed CFO of Metabolix.
