Customer Service Team Named Finalist for Fourth Year in The American Business Awards(SM)
HERNDON, Va. -- On the heels of recognition from the J.D. Power and Associates Certified Call Center Program(SM) for providing "An Outstanding Customer Service Experience" for the third consecutive year, the Network Solutions Customer Service team has been announced as a finalist for the fourth year running in the annual 2008 Stevie Awards[R], presented by the American Business Awards (ABA). The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business.
"The entire Network Solutions Customer Service team is thrilled to be named as a finalist for a Stevie," said Joseph Pickett, Vice President of Customer Service for Network Solutions. "We continually strive to provide our customers with the best service, expertise and information at all times, and it is an honor to be recognized by the American Business Awards for our efforts."
The Network Solutions team worked diligently to deliver ongoing gold standard customer service and the company goal of providing customer satisfaction with each of the more than 52,000 customer contacts per week. In addition, 2007 was also a year of providing increased service for another customer--the Hazleton, PA community where the team lives and works. With more than 50 individuals volunteering, the Network Solutions Customer Service team took time out, to participate in the American Cancer Society Telethon, Alex's Lemonade Stand, and monthly bingo tournaments at St. Luke's Manor nursing home, raising nearly $10,000 for local charities.
"ABA entries grew more than 30 percent this year, so being named a finalist is a greater accomplishment than ever before," said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. "It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition. We congratulate all of the Finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition."
Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Thursday, June 12 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 600 executives from across the U.S.A. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network and hosted by Liz Claman of FOX Business Network.
