Software Enables Print Shops to Meet Growing Demand

BOULDER, Colo. -- Tombstone Cards' (OTCBB: TMCI) software development division, Tombstone Technologies, continues its expansion into the $84 billion domestic digital printing market today with the announcement that the first beta customer will begin testing its proprietary Web-to-print software, OIEPrint(TM) 2.0.

OIEPrint is designed to help print shops, publishers and others meet increased demand by customers who want to design, proof and order their projects online. This de facto business requirement is being driven by the rapidly accelerating penetration of high-speed Internet access and increased comfort level using Web-based applications. The beta test comes at a key time as the digital printing market is expected to grow by 10 percent per year over the next eight years.

The beta customer is Eight Days a Week, a respected high-tech imaging and copy center (www.8days.com) founded 25 years ago in tech-savvy Boulder, Colorado.

OIEPrint is a Web-to-print template-driven application that allows individuals to create high-resolution, print-ready images. The software is designed for print shops and product customizers, whose clients can start the design process, select from a variety of customizable templates, upload photos, logos and graphics from their desktop files and then add Rich Text or even Text-Along-a-Path. The final output not only provides print-ready graphics at 300 dpi (dots per inch) but saves the design work in separate layers in the SQL database for future editing.

With version 2.0, OIEPrint will be available across platforms including Windows, Unix or Mac. The new version also makes customizable "skins" available, allowing OIEPrint clients to brand the look of the online editing tool with their own graphics.
