"Providing a user-friendly platform for our NAB Show clients and attendees to continue interacting throughout the year was a logical step for us," said NAB Executive Vice President of Conventions & Business Operations Chris Brown. "For the content and electronic media professionals who make up the 'broader-casting' community, NAB365 will serve as an invaluable resource, connecting buyers and sellers throughout the year."

At its core, NAB365 will assist content professionals in identifying the products and services they need to perform their job. The Web site will also feature daily news, research content, audio and video content, and a career search center. The site will also boast NAB365 TV, which will give companies a platform to announce new products and distribute company news globally via Internet video.

NAB teamed with BDMetrics, a Baltimore-based company, to create NAB365.

"NAB has built a premier trade show that allows its community of professionals to gather, and we worked to duplicate this concept online," said BDMetrics CEO Rick Geritz. "It's a virtual gathering to complement the physical pilgrimage content professionals make to the NAB Show every year, from online lead to handshake."
