Business Wire,  May 6, 2008

DUBLIN, Ireland -- Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c90826) has announced the addition of "Macquarie Telecom" to their offering.

Macquarie Telecom is a supplier of ICT for the business and government markets. It provides a range of voice, data, mobile and hosting solutions to over 3,000 corporate and government customers. Macquarie's data business provides data networking and data hosting services to Australian business and government customers. Macquarie's two key target markets are Australian mid-size corporates and the government sector.

The company's new Metro Access Network (MAN) supports voice, data, VoIP, DSL and Internet applications, in addition to hosting services and mobile offerings as well as satellite services. Data is now a big focus of Macquarie's strategy and its data centre is increasingly becoming more important. By mid 2007 data revenue growth had picked up significantly with the benefits of the MAN started to be realised. Macquarie's focus in 2008 is to drive profitable growth through leveraging changes in communications technology for medium to large sized business and government customers.
