Daniel Hirsch joins Turner Investment Partners as security analyst
Business Wire, May 6, 2008
BERWYN, Pa. -- Daniel Hirsch has been named security analyst in the Growth Equity Investing Team at Turner Investment Partners, an investment firm that manages growth, value, and core stocks on behalf of institutions and individuals.
Mr. Hirsch, 22, covers the technology and telecommunications sector, conducting fundamental company research for Turner's institutional growth-stock portfolios, managed accounts, and mutual funds. He reports to Robert E. Turner, chairman and chief investment officer.
In monitoring technology and telecommunications, Mr. Hirsch joins one of five analyst teams that are assigned to oversee the 10 market sectors for the firm's growth-stock portfolios. The other analyst teams cover the consumer, financial-services, health-care, and cyclical sectors. Such a sector orientation is a distinguishing aspect of Turner's growth-stock investment process. The teams cover their market sectors across all capitalization ranges and make investment recommendations on stocks in those sectors. Based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, Turner was founded in 1990.
As a college student Mr. Hirsch served twice as a co-operative employee at Turner.
Mr. Hirsch graduated in March 2008 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business. He is a resident of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
