Blind Society Takes Home Accolades for Non-Traditional Work, Opens New Office in Scottsdale, Ariz.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Less than two years after its founding, Blind Society, the nation's first company specializing in Consumer Connections, announced today that it has opened offices in Scottsdale, Ariz., and has taken home 10 distinctive honors in the non-traditional arena; including an NHL Best in Marketing award, a National Sports Forum award in non-traditional advertising and eight American Marketing Association ADDY awards for the Greater-Phoenix area.

"As the first Consumer Connections company in the nation, receiving recognition from marketing peers was validating. What drives us is creating results for our clients and spending their marketing budgets wisely. The campaign we created in partnership with the Phoenix Coyotes led to several sell-out crowds throughout the season," said Darren Wilson of Blind Society.

This month, Blind Society opened its new offices in downtown Scottsdale, Ariz., a chic, arts area that fosters the most creative minds. Blind Society's business expansion is due to an increase in demand for companies looking for alternative marketing tactics to connect with their consumers and ultimately build their businesses.

Also earlier this month, the Phoenix Coyotes were recognized by the National Hockey League for the Best Marketing Campaign for 2007-08. Blind Society was instrumental in assisting the Phoenix Coyotes in their marketing efforts. The NHL's 2007-08 Best Marketing Campaign award is presented for overall marketing efforts throughout the season. Campaigns were judged by panelists from Sports Business Journal, Brandweek and Adrenalin, Inc. Aside from the NHL, Blind Society and the Phoenix Coyotes were also awarded the Best Alternative Advertising award at the 2008 National Sports Forum, as well as placing as finalists in the Best Overall Campaign and Best Outdoor Campaign categories.

The ADDY awards are the advertising industry's largest competition, recognizing and rewarding creative excellence. They are organized and hosted every year by the American Advertising Federation. The local ADDY Awards are the first of a three-tier, nationwide competition. Local entrants from across the country compete for recognition as the very best in their markets.
