Gaylord Entertainment Implements RedPrairie's Workforce Management and Performance Management Solutions

Leading hospitality and entertainment company optimizes 10,000 employees and gains insight with business analytics tool

MILWAUKEE -- RedPrairie Corporation, a leading consumer driven optimization company, announced today that leading hospitality and entertainment company, Gaylord Entertainment, has implemented RedPrairie's Workforce Management and Performance Management solutions. Workforce Management will provide state-of-the-art scheduling technology to help manage Gaylord's 10,000-plus employees spread across multiple properties. The Performance Management solution provides analytical monitoring and reporting tools for fast, actionable decision making. Both solutions provide information to corporate personnel and to individual property managers.

In 2007, Gaylord implemented RedPrairie's Workforce Management application for e-learning and schedule optimization. The software helps Gaylord assess labor needs and schedule employees across multiple divisions at its four hotel properties. RedPrairie's Workforce Management application provides time and attendance, forecasting, e-learning and optimized labor scheduling, ensuring that the right people with the right skill sets are in place at the right time.

In March 2008, Gaylord implemented RedPrairie's Performance Management solution. Performance Management is a web-based analytical solution that monitors, analyzes and reports on key performance indicators that drive an organization's success.

RedPrairie's web-enabled Workforce Management application includes innovative features that leverage RedPrairie's full labor optimization suite, including: time and attendance, business forecasting, labor-demand planning, automated optimized scheduling, associate self service, dashboards with configurable alerts and computer-based training. The solution takes advantage of the scalability of Microsoft SQL Server to handle multiple simultaneous transactions.

RedPrairie's Performance Management uses powerful web-based visual dashboards that can be delivered to individuals based on their organizational role and location. Performance Management includes OLAP analysis that integrates with Microsoft Office Excel 2007 for fast, easy to use, ad hoc reporting.
