Channel M Names Peter Lee Chief Technology Officer and Chief Strategy Officer

Digital Out-of-Home Video Leader Hires Former Disney Executive as First CTO to Build-out Nationwide Content and Advertising Distribution Network
LOS ANGELES -- Channel M, a leading digital out-of-home video company, today announced it has appointed Peter Lee to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). In these roles, Lee will be providing counsel to all aspects of Channel M's business, with a focus on building out the company's digital distribution network. Lee's experience in numerous C-level positions underlines his outstanding track record for assisting companies in developing their visions and assisting in the realization of those strategies through guidance in finance, legal, operations, human resources and marketing.

Lee was most recently Vice President, Business Development New Technology, at The Walt Disney Company in the Corporate Strategy, Planning, and Technology Group. His responsibilities included creating new businesses for Disney in digital content consumption/delivery and leading the company's unilateral content protection efforts for all Disney assets worldwide. He has also served as a consultant to Disney and Fox, where
he advised on video-on-demand strategies. Prior to this, Lee was the President/CEO of GeoVideo Networks, a Lucent Technology company, the COO/CTO of MyPotential, a well-being company chaired by Deepak Chopra, CTO/co-founder of Hitplay Media, a targeted ad insertion and streaming media content provider, and the Global Development Executive for broadcast and advertising at IBM.
Lee earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science from UCLA. In 2005, he won a Technical Emmy Award and has been granted twelve patents, with multiple patents pending in the areas of digital ad insertion, content distribution, and portable media players.
