State Employees' Credit Union Sponsors Radio Messages Highlighting North Carolina's State Employees!

RALEIGH, N.C. -- State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) has once again teamed with the North Carolina Office of State Personnel and various State agencies to sponsor a statewide radio message campaign promoting State employees and the valuable services they provide to the citizens of North Carolina. The radio messages, part of a "What's In It For You" (WIIFY) Image Campaign that began in 2001, are airing throughout the week of May 4-10, 2008 in conjunction with State Employees' Recognition Week.

The goal of the WIIFY campaign is to highlight North Carolina's dedicated, hardworking state employees and bring a positive focus to the many services provided to citizens by the various agencies and departments. The 2008 radio campaign spotlights five employees along with their agencies/departments including the State Surplus Property Agency, Department of Correction, NC Division of Forest Resources, Department of Transportation and Cultural Resources' Office of State Archaeology. During the radio spots, the featured employees introduce themselves and comment on the services provided by the agency or department they represent.

Within the radio messages, another aspect of the WIIFY Campaign is highlighted - the website www.whatsinitforyou.org. This site contains links to State agencies and job listings, as well as information about services offered to State employees. The website also features a monthly drawing for free prizes.
