Deltek Appoints Mark Wabschall as Chief Financial Officer

HERNDON, Va. -- Deltek, Inc. (NASDAQ:PROJ), the leading provider of enterprise applications software for project-focused organizations, today announced that it has appointed Mark Wabschall as the company's new Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Wabschall brings over 30 years of experience to Deltek, most recently as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for webmethods, Inc., a leading provider of business integration and optimization software. In this role, Mr. Wabschall completed a number of acquisitions and coordinated various potential strategic combination transactions.
Prior to his position at webmethods, Inc., Mr. Wabschall held various senior financial and operational executive positions in both the public and private sectors in the U.S. and Europe. He was Vice President of Finance for Innovative Technology Application, a Virginia-based government contractor. Mr. Wabschall was also the Senior Vice President of Operations for the Baan Company, an enterprise application software company based out of The Netherlands. He also held the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for International Drilling Fluids located in London, England and was an audit partner with Arthur Andersen LLP.
Mr. Wabschall will succeed Deltek's current Chief Financial Officer, James Reagan, on May 16thafter the filing of the company's quarterly report on Form 10-Q. Jim Reagan will stay on at Deltek through the summer to work with Mark in his new role and assure a successful transition.
