Bansal Brings Breadth of Engineering Experience to CallWave
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- CallWave, Inc. (NASDAQ:CALL), a leading provider of Internet and mobile based unified communications solutions, announced today that Ritesh Bansal has joined the company as vice president of application development and will report to CallWave President and CEO Jeff Cavins.
Bansal joins CallWave with a rich background in application, software services and mobile device development. With an engineering career including positions at CitiBank and Oracle, Bansal went on to lead a development team at Kivera, a location-based technology solutions company in the San Francisco Bay area. At Kivera, he was responsible for all engineering and development, where his team built real-time traffic systems, navigation and mapping services and social networking applications for mobile devices, such as "Friend Finder" for mobile. Most recently, Bansal headed up engineering at TalkPlus in Mountain View, CA. Bansal earned his engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, India.
