American Water's 2008 First Quarter Earnings Conference Call Scheduled for May 14, 2008

VOORHEES, N.J. -- American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE:AWK) announced today that it intends to release its 2008 first quarter financial results after the market closes on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
Donald L. Correll, president and chief executive officer, and Ellen C. Wolf, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will host a conference call and audio webcast with investors, analysts and other interested parties on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. In consideration of the quiet period surrounding its initial public offering, there will be no question and answer session on the call.
