Gary M. Stentz, CFA Joins Invesco as Client Portfolio Manager

NEW YORK -- Invesco today announced it has named Gary M. Stentz, CFA as Client Portfolio Manager for Invesco Quantitative Strategies (IQS). Stentz reports to Donna Wilson, Head of U.S. Client Portfolio Management Team and will be based in New York.

With locations in New York, Boston and Frankfurt, Invesco Quantitative Strategies' investment process captures alpha through a systematic application of fundamental and behavioral concepts. This investment process is supported by rigorous research that validates the effectiveness of the investment ideas and identifies potential new insights that may add predictive value as markets evolve. IQS's investment capabilities include active long-only, enhanced, directional long/short (130/30) and market neutral strategies, as well as tactical asset allocation.
Stentz, with 27 years of industry experience, comes from RCM Capital Management, LLC where he had been Director, Head of Consultant Relations since 2004. Previously he was Director, Institutional Asset Allocation at Banc of America Capital Management and prior to that he was Assistant Treasurer and Director, Pension Asset Management, Monsanto. He began his investment career as a portfolio manager/investment analyst with the Public Employees Retirement System of Ohio.
Stentz earned a B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University; a J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University and a MBA from the Capital University Graduate School of Administration of Capital University. He is a CFA charterholder.
