MediaG3's Senior Vice President of Operations, Joseph Anzalone, discussed with WallSt.net's viewers the grant from the United States Trade & Development Agency (USTDA) to launch the pilot project for broadband wireless to support Internet and digital TV services. The pilot will be done together with its long time Chinese partner Academy of Broadcasting Science (ABS), a division of State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT).
The USTDA grant will be used to support the engineering, planning and implementation of the pilot project, which will assess MediaG3's fixed wireless equipment and technology in support of a commercialization for China's "Direct to Home Rural Coverage" plan.
