Compellent Appoints Duston Williams to Board of Directors

Infinera's Chief Financial Officer Taps Extensive Storage Industry Experience as Independent Director

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Compellent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE Arca: CML) today announced that Duston Williams has been appointed to its board of directors. Mr. Williams will serve as an independent director on the audit committee.

Mr. Williams brings 28 years of senior financial management experience in the data networking and storage industry to his position on Compellent's board. Currently he is chief financial officer at Infinera, a leading provider of digital optical networking systems for telecommunications carriers worldwide. Prior to that, he served as CFO for more than a decade at a number of other publicly traded and privately held companies, including storage industry leaders Maxtor Corporation and Western Digital Corporation.
