Farmers Insurance Employees Contribute to Hurricane Ike Red Cross Relief Efforts

LOS ANGELES -- Farmers Insurance Group of Companies[R] has sent $37,500 plus food and clothing to help the American Red Cross relief efforts following the terrible aftermath of Hurricane Ike.
"There are still thousands of Texans without power, and so many in need of help," noted Farmers CEO Paul N. Hopkins. I am pleased to announce that Farmers Insurance employees in the Home Office in Los Angeles; Austin, Texas Service Point; the Northwest Service Center in Oregon; Kansas City Service Center; Pocatello, Idaho Service Center and the Los Angeles Service Center raised $12,500, plus contributed food and clothing and Farmers Insurance is proud to add an additional contribution of $25,000. We hope this will help the many who have immediate needs."
