Telephonics Corporation Receives Contract Award from the United States Air Force for Wireless Intercommunication Systems

TruLink to be Utilized in Critical Aeromedical Evacuation Missions
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. -- Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Griffon Corporation (NYSE:GFF); announced today that it has been awarded a contract from the United States Air Force (USAF) in excess of $6.0 million dollars for TruLink[R] Wireless Intercommunication Systems. The TruLink system will be used by 5-member Aeromedical Evacuation (AE) teams to provide clear voice communications between team members, thereby enhancing the safe transport and care of patient's on-board military aircraft. The system is designed for simultaneous, multi-user, voice conferencing and implements advanced proprietary software to facilitate hands-free communications. The TruLink system has gone through rigorous environmental and operational testing for immediate use on USAF C-17A, and C-130E/H/J variant aircrafts.
