Blade Server Infrastructure and Contextual Search Tool Earn Recognition

NEW YORK -- Volt Information Sciences, Inc. (NYSE: VOL), a global provider of technology infrastructure, information-based services and human capital solutions, today announced that it has been named to the 2008 InformationWeek 500 list of the nation's most innovative users of information technology. Volt improved its year-over-year ranking from #37 to #21 on the list. This is the eighth consecutive year that Volt has been named to the InformationWeek 500.

Volt achieved recognition for implementing emerging technology in blade server infrastructure at its data center, allocating blade servers configured with Virtual Machines to run its entire non-production environment.
