Rebirth of Honey Magazine Spotlighted In Leading New York Business Journal

NEW YORK -- Sahara Media Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:SHHD), a multimedia company that recently acquired Sahara Media Inc., appeared in leading New York business journal, Crain's New York.

Titled "Sweet Read On The Web," the article, which ran in the Sunday, October 19, 2008 print edition of Crain's, details how Honey Magazine will soon enjoy a comeback as an online magazine and social media network.

Sahara Media, Inc. purchased the Honey Magazine trademark from Vanguard Media in 2005. Honey Magazine was a unique newsstand magazine that experienced a successful decade of growth targeting the 18-34 year-old urban female multi-cultural demographic. Celebrities such as Beyonce, Andre 3000, Pink, Alicia Keys, and others, all made their magazine cover debuts with Honey. Sahara's acquisition of Honey Magazine gives the company proprietary access to a library of original evergreen content from the magazine's ten-year run as one of the fastest-growing circulation magazines on the newsstand.

"We are delighted to see the relaunch of Honey touted in the pages of Crain's New York," said Philmore Anderson, Founder and CEO of Sahara Media, Inc. "As we work to create a best-in-class digital experience for a prized demographic, it is especially rewarding to garner media attention of this stripe."
