50 of Europe's Most-Promising High-Tech Companies to Present at Euro Tech Showcase Nov. 18-19 in Silicon Valley

Euro Tech and Dow Jones Venture Wire Technology Showcase Provide Investors, Tech Leaders Opportunity to Meet Innovative Emerging Companies from Europe, U.S.
SAN FRANCISCO -- Avise Partners today released the names of the 50 companies (www.EuroTechShowcase.com/presenters) that will present at the Euro Tech Showcase, Nov. 18-19, 2008, at the Sofitel San Francisco Bay in Redwood City, California. These companies were chosen during a stringent selection process that started with a pool of 800 companies and retained 50 of the most promising European high-tech companies.
The selected companies from 15 countries are spread across six technology sectors:
* Telecom and wireless
* Security
* Internet and services
* Enterprise applications
* Computing/networking/hardware, and
* Entertainment and media.
The Euro Tech Showcase is a corporate matchmaking conference focused on forging profitable links between up-and-coming European technology firms and American technology leaders. Most companies participating in the Euro Tech Showcase have received venture capital backing, have good market traction in Europe and are in the process of starting or accelerating their expansion in the U.S. market.
