CIGNA Adds David Stacey to National Accounts Team

Named Senior Vice President of National Accounts in Central Region

CHICAGO -- CIGNA HealthCare today announced the addition of David Stacey as senior vice president for the company's national accounts. Stacey will drive growth and earnings for CIGNA's clients with 5,000 or more employees in the central region. Stacey will manage the development and operations of the market including the sales and account management teams. He brings more than 17 years of experience to CIGNA's customers.

"David's comprehensive past consulting experience includes all areas of group benefit programs, including mergers and acquisitions, plan design strategy, and evaluation of health care networks," said Sam Srivastava, president of CIGNA's national segment and senior and retiree services. "He will be a tremendous asset to our team."

Prior to joining CIGNA, Stacey was a principal in Hewitt Associates' health management practice in Chicago, where he served as a member of the senior management team and as a member of the Hewitt Leadership Group. Before Hewitt, Stacey served in several different management and sales/service roles with Aetna in the South and Midwest.

Stacey often speaks at national events for employer groups on the subject of health care benefits and is regularly interviewed by the media for market trend information.

Stacey received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and finance from the University of Iowa and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston.
