NJVC Approved for GPO Schedule

VIENNA, Va. -- NJVC, one of the largest information technology solutions providers supporting the United States Department of Defense (DoD), has announced its approval as a vendor on the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) schedule. The GPO is the Federal Government's primary centralized resource for gathering, cataloging, producing, providing, preserving and authenticating published information in all forms.

The facility's printing assembly is supported by new Macs with 10.5 Leopard operating systems, complimented with the latest version of Adobe's Creative Suite for assembly. To round out the assembly function, an 11880 Epson color proofer with an Oris color tuner has been added to ensure exact color requirements are met before the print job goes to press.

The NJVC plating function has state-of-the-art Creo plate-making system with Preps in-position software for efficient paper usage and "Best Practice" bindery operations. Its pressroom boasts a regiment of three MANRoland five-color presses equipped with closed-loop color control systems and arranged for top performance on the pressroom floor. The bindery incorporates a Duplo 60 station collator, three large format MBO folders, two large format Lawson cutters and paper handling systems, one small format MBO folder, Comb, Spiro, stitching and drilling capabilities.
