Creation of Facebook Fan Page Provides Host of Resources to Job Seekers
PHILADELPHIA -- Yoh, a leading provider of talent and outsourcing services and a business unit of Day & Zimmermann, today announced that it has embarked on a joint venture with CareerBuilder.com and Facebook. As part of this relationship, Yoh will create its own Facebook fan page with the most up-to-date industry news and resources.
On its Facebook page, Yoh will offer job seekers a variety of resources to enhance the job search, including updates on the hottest skills in the market, important job search strategies, hiring trends and links to the latest job openings. In addition, users will be able to interact directly with industry thought leaders through the wall posting and discussion boards.
Yoh will be bringing additional resources to job seekers by posting recent company news and new videos that will be added to YohTube, Yoh's customized YouTube channel. The page will also host an RSS feeder for The Recruiter, Yoh's award-winning career blog for job seekers in the tech and professional markets.
"This is an incredible opportunity to continue to grow our online presence," says Bill Yoh, President and CEO of Yoh. "Facebook is one of the most trafficked websites in the United States, and is projected to have nearly 200 million users by the end of this year. We're excited to introduce our expertise and services to a new group of job seekers."
This summer, CareerBuilder.com entered into an exclusive partnership with Facebook to provide custom pages and applications to both partners and job seekers, including special offerings, "Featured Employer" spots, and targeted campaigns.
This is the fourth in a series of initiatives to expand Yoh's online presence. Last month, Yoh launched YohTube, and in 2006, Yoh unleashed The Recruiter, both designed to provide job seeking resources to both active and passive job seekers. In 2002, the company launched the award-winning Yoh Exchange, a ground-breaking Web-based portal that incorporates staffing planning, administration, policy and profile management, and on-site customer support into a user-friendly, end-to-end online HR solution.
