The results can be found here: www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/artsandliving/features/2008/lizzies/
This year's categories and nominees were compiled by Celebritology's panel of experts and included five new categories like, "Datingest Celeb," "Must-Read Celebrity Blogger," "Scariest Celeb Family of 2008," "Biggest Turnaround" and "Celebritology Fan Artist of the Year." The Lizzie Awards gave users the opportunity to weigh in on celebrities that have made headlines this year. Users were also able to post comments defending their choices and offer their opinions about the status of the polls.
For the second consecutive year, users crowned Angelina Jolie "Most Admired Celebrity," while Britney Spears' act-cleaning has led her to replace her title as "Biggest Train Wreck" with "Biggest Turnaround." While Amy Winehouse took "Biggest Train Wreck" by a landslide, most voters differed on the "Must-Read Celebrity Blogger" Category, where Alec Baldwin barely beat Rosie O'Donnell.
The following winners were chosen based on fans' opinions:
"Biggest Celebrity Train Wreck" Amy Winehouse (86% of votes) "Biggest Turnaround" Britney Spears (72% of votes) "Datingest Celebrity" John Mayer (43% of votes) "Must-Read Celebrity Blogger" Alec Baldwin on Huffington Post (29% of votes) "Scariest Celebrity Family" The Lohans (39% of votes) "Most-Admired Celebrity" Angelina Jolie (62% of votes) "Fan Artist of the Year" "Keith Richards" by tgreenberg (43% of votes)
