CIGNA International Releases New Transactional Web Portal; Medical Translations, Online Weight Management Offered

CLAYMONT, Del. -- CIGNA International Expatriate Benefits (CIEB) today released a new transactional web portal, CIGNA Envoy, for individual and employer customers, brokers, doctors and physicians.
CIGNA Envoy (www.CIGNAenvoy.com) offers advanced web tools that help ease benefits administration for employers and enable covered individuals to access benefit information anywhere in the world. The new web portal includes mobile medical translation tools, pod casts, printable medical ID cards, and online benefits enrollment.
"CIGNA Envoy will better serve our customers and simplify the process of administering benefits for employers. The new web portal will provide user-friendly web resources convenient for expatriates and business travelers, their doctors, and their employers," said Jim Blestowe, CIEB's director of Information Technology.
CIGNA Envoy users can access medical translation tools from a computer or a web-enabled phone to search for translations of medical terms and phrases as well as generic and brand name drugs. Expatriates and employers can listen to pod casts on a computer or download them to an MP3 player and listen wherever and whenever they like. CIGNA Envoy also offers online weight and medical condition management resources.
