Wizzard Media Signs First Automotive Ad Program with GM's Saturn
Business Wire, Sept 18, 2008
PITTSBURGH -- Wizzard Media (AMEX:WZE), the world's largest podcasting network, announced today that it has signed its first automotive advertising initiative, with General Motors' Saturn Division.
Saturn will sponsor 29 female-targeted audio and video podcasts that are part of the Wizzard network in a campaign that will run through October 2008. Audience delivery will be certified by Wizzard using Nielsen//NetRatings.
"This is a milestone agreement for Wizzard Media as it has enabled us to break into the automotive category," said Chris Spencer, Wizzard's president and chief executive officer. "We fully anticipate breaking into other categories in the coming months as more advertisers are recognizing podcasting's targetability and high level of opt-in engagement."
Other advertisers on the Wizzard podcast network include Coca-Cola, Panasonic, Puma, U.S. Navy, TD Financial and PowerAde.
