Business Wire, Sept 18, 2008
Fibertech won awards for sales representatives, provisioning, network, customer service, billing, and large business/enterprise data quality and price based on ratings from business customers
ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- For the third consecutive year, Fibertech Networks has received some of the highest operations marks in an industry-wide survey compiled by ATLANTIC-ACM, a leading provider of strategic research and consulting services serving the telecommunications and information industries.
Today, at a reception at the Yale Club in New York City, Fibertech received highest honors in ATLANTIC-ACM's 2008 Retail Metro Report Card among competitive telecommunications carriers for sales representatives, provisioning, network, customer service, billing and large business and enterprise data quality and price.
"We're honored with this recognition as it demonstrates our ability to provide customers with a commitment to responsiveness and support unmatched in the industry," said Fibertech President and CEO John K. Purcell. "Our employees' dedication and unparalleled attention to detail set us apart, and these awards are further proof that our customers, and the marketplace in general, recognize these efforts."
The annual nationwide survey is based on the results of more than 3,000 individual ratings of company's local network services and the operations behind those services. The Metro Report Card is widely recognized as the broadest benchmarking tool in business telecommunications.
"Fibertech's results were high for all retail service categories and reflects their commitment to overall service excellence," said Dr. Judy Reed Smith, CEO of ATLANTIC-ACM. "In general, the leading competitive carriers receive the highest service rankings in the survey, with Fibertech earning the highest marks for network performance and several key operational categories."
