Skydrol® Continues 60 Year Anniversary Celebration in Russia

ST. LOUIS & MOSCOW -- Solutia Inc. (NYSE: SOA) continued the 60th anniversary celebration of Skydrol([R]), the world's leading fire-resistant aviation hydraulic fluid, by sponsoring a technical conference in Moscow, Russia, on August 21, 2008. Approximately 70 people representing airframe manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers, commercial airlines and distributors attended the conference. The conference provided an overview regarding various aviation hydraulic fluid matters as well as a series of presentations focusing on developments in hydraulic fluid technology and best practices for working with Skydrol(www.skydrol.com).
Companies, airlines and agencies represented at the conference included: Transaero, S7, GTK Rossia, AirAstana, KD Avia, Tesis, IFK Technique, Russian Federal Agency for Air Transport, and the Ministry of Industry. In addition, several companies shared their experiences in using Skydrol aviation hydraulic fluids, including: Antonov, Sukhoi, Tupolev, Rubin, and VladAvia.
