PHOENIX -- The Arizona Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), a global association for professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions, today announced its first annual Capital Connection Conference. The inaugural conference will be held Tuesday, October 28 and Wednesday, October 29, and is expected to bring together hundreds of business and M&A professionals from Arizona and across the U.S.
Two-time Super Bowl winning coach Dick Vermeil will be the featured keynote speaker during a luncheon on October 29. One of the most distinguished coaches in NFL history, Vermeil spent 15 seasons as an NFL head coach and owns the rare distinction of being named "Coach of the Year" on four levels: high school, junior college, NCAA Division 1, and the NFL. Vermeil is just one of four coaches in NFL history to lead two different teams to the Super Bowl.
"ACG-Arizona is highly dedicated to helping Arizona's professionals create deals and grow businesses," said Brian Moll, President of ACG-Arizona. "The Capital Connection provides the ideal opportunity for Arizona's business owners and leaders, along with other M&A professionals, to connect with the country's top private equity funds that represent over $60 billion in capital, and the opportunity to network with other ACG members from across the country."
In addition to the opportunity to meet with representatives of the attending private equity firms, other topics to be addressed at the conference include:
