Business Wire, Sept 22, 2008
NEW YORK -- Max Mara and ESPN have teamed up to dress Monday Night Football (MNF) reporters Suzy Kolber and Michele Tafoya for the National Football League (NFL) regular season for all Monday night games on ESPN.
For 16 weeks straight, Suzy and Michele will be dressed head-to-toe in stylish shirts, sweaters, jackets, coats and scarves of the season from the luxury Italian fashion group, Max Mara, as they offer their NFL team reports, bringing viewers closer to the players, coaches and action on the field.
The 2008 season will include a total of 32 outfits for ESPN's two NFL reporters, selected in a single-day blitz in the MaxMara USA showroom in New York City.
As the seasons turn from summer to fall and into winter throughout the next four months, the reporters' Max Mara wardrobes will, too - from jersey tops and lightweight wool, silk and linen jackets to cashmere turtlenecks and cashmere, suede and down jackets. Tune in every Monday night for Michele and Suzy's fashions and pre-game and sideline reports. Tonight, the New York Jets play the Chargers at San Diego.
This is the third year of Max Mara's collaboration with ESPN's MNF and the reporters, a partnership that began in 2006, the inaugural year of ESPN's Monday Night Football.
