Inclusion on Prestigious List Highlights Successful Turn-Around
Unify Returned to Profitability, Expanded Customer-Base, Introduced New Solutions and Resumed Trading on NASDAQ in Past Year
ROSEVILLE, Calif. -- Unify Corp. (NASDAQ:UNFY), a global provider of application modernization solutions, today announced that the company has been named among the Sacramento Region's "100 Fastest Growing Companies" by the editors of the Sacramento Business Journal. Unify ranked 26th on the list.
The Sacramento Business Journal 100 Fastest Growing Company's list includes companies that have at least $200,000 in revenue for the base year (2005) and have been in business for at least nine months of the base year. Headquarters must be in Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer or Yolo counties.

On September 4, 2008, Unify reported first quarter total revenues of $5.0 million, up 27 percent, compared to $4.0 million in the first quarter of the prior year. First quarter net income was $391,000 or $0.05 per share, compared to a net loss of $218,000 or $0.04 loss per share in the first quarter of last year. Non-GAAP net income for the quarter was $725,000 or $0.09 per share, compared to a non-GAAP net income of $60,000 or $0.01 per share in the same quarter of last year.
In addition, the company was relisted on the NASDAQ exchange on August 25, 2008 and now trades under the ticker symbol UNFY.
