Business Wire, Sept 25, 2008
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Clean Energy, Inc. (1998 Nevada) (Pink Sheets:CLER) is engaged in completing an audit of its financial statements and preparing Edgar filings for the US Securities and Exchange Commission (US SEC) that commenced in early July and scheduled for completion prior to the end of 2008.
On September 18th, 2008, the US SEC revoked our trading symbol CLER due to our past US SEC filings not being current.
Our management is proceeding with a plan of action to complete a new registration for listing on a US exchange upon our audit and Edgar filings being completed.
The company is in the process of selecting an independent business-consulting firm to conduct a proper financial evaluation of Clean Energy, Inc. including the review of its technology licenses, business plan, sales results, and sales projections.
The Company is primarily focused on its development of a fleet of electric vehicles to be sold and serviced by a network of regional Clean Electric dealerships. Our objective is to continue meeting all necessary local, state, and federal permitting prior to marketing our electric vehicle products.
The Company was made aware of additional permitting requirements within the State of California and is taking steps to fulfill these requirements with its vehicle suppliers.
As a result, the official launch of our products has been delayed by a minimum of 60 days. Our team is making its best efforts to be able to sell its products in California within the fourth quarter of 2008.
