20th Century Fox Releases World Films' The Butcher in Australia

High-Action Film Starring Eric Roberts to Be Released March 2009
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- World Films, Inc., a production company that is rapidly redefining the action-drama genre, has acquired a 20th Century Fox release of its most recent film, The Butcher, in Australia in March 2009.
Written and directed by renowned director Jesse Johnson, The Butcher is an action-packed drama about Merle Hench, a washed-up ex-prize fighter turned mob enforcer, who after a 20 year streak of bad luck has 48 golden hours. Starring Academy Award- and Golden Globe-nominated Eric Roberts, best known for his performances in Runaway Train, King of the Gypsies, The Pope of Greenwich Village and most recently as Salvatore Maroni in Batman The Dark Knight, the top grossing movie of 2008, The Butcher has garnered great acclaim domestically and internationally.
