MCN Awarded Department of Labor Contract for Southeast

SEATTLE -- Medical Consultants Network, Inc. (MCN) has been awarded a contract by the US Department of Labor, Office of Workers Compensation Programs (OWCP) to provide services for its Jacksonville, Fl., office. The Jacksonville contract will serve 8 States in the Southeast (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee). Key services will be provided by MCN's Tampa office.
This will be the 4th region served by MCN, which has contracts for the Seattle, WA, New York, NY, and Washington, D.C. offices of the OWCP. The primary services under the contract are medical second opinions for civilian federal employees who submit compensation claims for work-related injuries as part of the adjudication and case management process. MCN contracts with physicians in selected specialties to perform the evaluations.
