LongRun2 Delivers Advanced Power Management, Leakage Control, and Process Compensation for the Fabless Semi Industry

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Transmeta Corporation (NASDAQ:TMTA), a leading supplier of power management intellectual property (IP), today announced that it will exhibit its new suite of IP blocks for its LongRun2 leakage control and process compensation technology at the GSA Suppliers Expo & Conference (Booth #706). The conference is being held from October 2-4, 2008 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

LongRun2 is a suite of advanced power management, leakage control, and process compensation technologies that can dramatically reduce the negative effects of increasing power and process variations in advanced semiconductor designs. The new suite of IP blocks addresses these challenges with a comprehensive set of solutions that include advanced algorithms, innovative circuits, unique devices and structures, process techniques, and manufacturing optimization methods. The new LongRun2 IP blocks are suited for use by fabless semiconductor companies as IP components of System-on-Chip and other advanced chip designs.

Transmeta's LongRun2 technology has been licensed by some of the world's top semiconductor integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) and fabless semiconductor companies including Fujitsu, Intel, NEC, NVIDIA, Sony, and Toshiba.
