SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) today reported that there have been more than 25 million installations of applications deployed on Adobe[R] AIR[TM] in the first six months since its release. Numerous Fortune 500 companies, in addition to start-ups across a variety of industries, have deployed hundreds of AIR applications to engage with customers, partners, and employees in new and compelling ways.
Highlighted among the current collection of companies deploying applications on Adobe AIR are top global brands, including AOL, eBay, The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. and The New York Times Company. eBay, the popular online marketplace, released eBay Desktop on AIR which has been downloaded more than 1 million times in the six months since its release.
