General Peter Pace, USMC to Speak at IDGA's NCW 2009 Conference

NEW YORK -- The Institute for Defense and Government Advancement (IDGA) announced today that General Peter Pace, USMC (Ret), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (2005-2007) will give a keynote presentation at IDGA's 8th Annual NCW Conference. NCW 2009 will take place January 27 - 30, 2009 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC.

General Pace will speak to conference attendees beginning at 1:30pm on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 and will answer their questions afterwards.

General Peter Pace served as the 16th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from September 30, 2005, to October 1, 2007. In this capacity, he served as the principal military advisor to the President of the United States, the Secretary of Defense, the National Security Council, and the Homeland Security Council. Prior to becoming Chairman, he served as Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

As the former senior military leader of the United States, General Pace possesses a comprehensive understanding of global security and international military affairs. He will share his first-hand knowledge of the most pressing international issues and how global netcentric operations can improve our ability to counter them.
