Why: President Obama and Congress are steamrolling American taxpayers with an agenda of government spending, higher taxes, and bailout after bailout. Unfortunately, the economic crisis and the costs of big government reach far beyond Washington. Florida faces its own financial disaster unless important economic reforms are adopted. To raise awareness about these important issues, FreedomWorks’ Florida chapter is mobilizing grassroots ‘tea parties’ all over the state to send a powerful message to the politicians in Washington and Tallahassee on behalf of taxpayers.

FreedomWorks is a grassroots organization with over 500,000 members nationwide and over 20,000 in Florida dedicated to lower taxes, less government, and more freedom.
