WILTON, Conn. -- Infotrieve (www.infotrieve.com), the global leader in business service solutions for information centers, was featured in Outsell, Inc.’s report “Infotrieve: A Case Study in Market Alignment and Positioning for Growth” published this month.
The case study notes that Infotrieve has made “significant investments in new web-based platforms to both facilitate its services with technology and to improve the customer experience” and details the strategy and execution of the company’s new roadmap beginning with the new management team that arrived in early 2006 to the launch and implementation of four new solutions launched and implemented in the past year.
The report also notes, “It is already clear that the company is doing all the right things to position itself well for future growth.”
“We are very excited that the new solutions Infotrieve has introduced to the marketplace have been well received and are providing great value to our customers,” said Ken Benvenuto, CEO of Infotrieve. “Infotrieve remains committed to providing technology and business services that deliver a solid return on investment for information centers and libraries, regulatory and medical affairs professionals, and product management and marketing specialists,” he added.
Outsell, an independent research and advisory firm focused on the information industry, delves into solutions available to information management professionals responsible for managing a multitude of vendor contracts for both print and electronic content at a point when there is severe budget pressure and increasingly more complex vendor portfolios.
The report makes note of Infotrieve’s new solutions: Virtual Library™ 2.0, Content SCM®, BRAVO™ and the STM Library™.
Recently, Infotrieve’s Content SCM® was selected as a finalist in the Best Online Science or Technology Service category for the 2009 CODiE Awards presented by the SIIA.
