Company Leverages Existing NaviNet Brand to Accelerate Adoption of Innovative Connectivity Solutions and Expansion of 700,000 Enrolled Provider Base
CHICAGO -- NaviNet (formerly NaviMedix), America’s largest real-time healthcare communications network, today announced that the Company has changed its name effective April 6, 2009. Since the Company’s inception in 1998, it has been committed to using communications and collaboration to reduce costs and improve quality in healthcare, via its multi-payer communications Web site, NaviNet. Now, the Company leverages existing NaviNet brand recognition among its 20 health plan customers and its national network of over 700,000 enrolled providers to reinforce NaviNet’s position as the leader in real-time healthcare communications, accelerate adoption of new NaviNet solutions to connect healthcare providers, health plans and industry partners, and continue expansion of the NaviNet national provider network.
