IPAF and Access International Present First Worldwide Awards For Aerial Equipment Industry
CHICAGO -- NES Rentals Holdings, Inc., one of the largest aerial equipment rental providers in the country, is pleased to announce that its chairman and CEO, Andrew Studdert, received the Safety Champion Of The Year award from the International Powered Access Federation and International Access magazine at its inaugural awards ceremony in Dublin, Ireland on April 2, 2009. The award recognizes individuals who have significantly raised powered access safety levels within an organization or the industry.
“I am honored to receive such a prestigious award recognizing a value that is core to our organization... safety,” stated Studdert. “Keeping NES Rentals employees and customers safe both at home and at work is critical to the success of our company and has been instrumental in developing and retaining one of the best equipment rental teams in the country.”
The Safety Champion Of The Year award is the second recognition for safety that Studdert has received this year. In February of 2009, the National Safety Council recognized Studdert on its annual list of “CEOs Who Get It” featuring corporate leaders who demonstrate that employee safety is a core corporate value, cultivate safety leadership at all levels within an organization, and support employees with extensive safety training.
