Washington Real Estate Investment Trust Announces 190th Consecutive Quarterly Dividend

ROCKVILLE, Md. -- WRIT’s Board of Trustees announced today a quarterly dividend of $.4325 per share to be paid on June 30, 2009 to shareholders of record on June 15, 2009.

This is WRIT’s 190th consecutive quarterly dividend at equal or increasing rates. WRIT dividends have increased every year for 38 consecutive years.

WRIT is a self-administered, self-managed, equity real estate investment trust investing in income-producing properties in the greater Washington metro region. WRIT owns a diversified portfolio of 93 properties consisting of 28 office properties, 22 industrial/flex properties, 17 medical office properties, 14 retail centers, 12 multi-family properties and land for development.
