Health Care REIT, Inc. Declares First Quarter Dividend

TOLEDO, Ohio -- Health Care REIT, Inc. (NYSE:HCN) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a dividend for the quarter ended March 31, 2009 of $0.68 per share. The dividend will be the company's 152nd consecutive quarterly payment, payable May 20, 2009, to stockholders of record on May 11, 2009.
