QuickLogic Appoints Frank Ellis to Vice President Worldwide Sales

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK), the lowest power programmable solutions leader, today announced that Frank G. Ellis has joined the company as Vice President Worldwide Sales following the recent promotion of Andy Pease to President of the Corporation. Mr. Ellis will be responsible for executing QuickLogic’s Customer Specific Standard Product (CSSP) sales strategy and leading all of the company’s sales activities globally.
Mr. Ellis comes to QuickLogic with over 25 years experience of complex technical sales and business development in the semiconductor industry, particularly in the mobile consumer/prosumer and enterprise markets. During this time, he has held senior sales, business development and worldwide sales management positions at leading companies such as Texas Instruments, Harris/Intersil Corporation, and RF Micro Devices (through their acquisition of Resonext Communications). Mr. Ellis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
