MB Research & Netscribes Initiate Loan Research on LCDX Names

MB Research Advisors LLC, a New York based credit research firm initiates loan research on LCDX names in collaboration with Netscribes. The purpose of these reports is to provide investors with in-depth quantitative analyses on loan assets to facilitate their investment decisions. The reports offer an unbiased view on the companies covered.

NEW YORK -- MB Research & Netscribes announce the initiation of loan research of LCDX names. The coverage will include all the 100 names constituting the LCDX index. Last week, MB Research and Netscribes had announced their research partnership in the fields of credit/equity research (refer http://www.netscribes.com/pressReleases/PR_CreditResearch.pdf).

The reports are focused on the coverage of loan assets to facilitate the identification of investment opportunities from the LCDX North America index of loan credit default swaps (LCDSs), and to expedite decision making based on fundamental parameters. The index comprises of 100 equally weighted North American LCDSs referencing syndicated first-lien loans, selected by dealers based on their liquidity.

The coverage initiated till date is for First Data Corporation, Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Cengage Learning & Harrah’s Operating Company Inc. The plan is to ramp it up to 100 names within the next few months and provide updates to the coverage on a quarterly basis, going forward.
