XcelPlus Global Holdings Expands Renewable-Fuel Sales Agreement with Freedom Fuels, Forecasts Positive Revenue News
Business Wire, June 18, 2009
DOTHAN, Ala. -- XcelPlus Global Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets: XPGH) has expanded its fuel sales agreement with Freedom Fuels, LLC, adding 50 million gallons to the initial sales projection of 18 million gallons in 11 southeastern states.
"This is an exciting turning point for XcelPlus Global Holdings, as it moves forward with its business plan," said company president J. Michael Parsons. "The market is embracing green fuels for the first time in history, validating our strategy to target industrial users, who are now anxious to switch to alternative and renewable fuels in place of petroleum products wherever feasible. If this trend continues, XcelPlus will continue to grow at a very steady rate well into the future."
Another milestone will be achieved at the end of this month when the company's quarterly financials are released. "The report should show a stunning change from all previous quarters," Parsons stated. "For the first time in its history, XcelPlus Global will have revenue. This is the beginning of our transition from a technology company to an operating company, with tremendous upside growth potential just with our current contracts and agreements. XcelPlus Global is ideally positioned to grow as a result of the Federal government’s strategy to build out the infrastructure for renewable and alternative energy sources."
